Several representatives of NERA’s Securities and Finance practice will attend the American Bar Association’s 2018 Section of Litigation Annual Conference. Among them is Managing Director and Chair of NERA’s White Collar, Investigations and Enforcement Practice Dr. Vinita Juneja, who will speak in the panel “The Proliferation of Shareholder Opt-Out Litigation: Prosecuting, Defending, and Settling Direct Actions After ANZ Securities” on Thursday, 3 May. Dr. Juneja will discuss opt-out suits in securities fraud matters, specifically from an economist’s perspective.
Associate Directors Timothy McKenna and Dr. Jordan Milev will also be participating in the conference.
